We retested in science because 1. Most of the class failed and 2. When I looked over the test a second time I realized I had left out a whole page from the test and when I reclaculated the scores, they were worse. We went over the test in class and took notes again, students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss things they may not understand. 

New grades are posted with a small curve added as well. 

I am really hoping that students will begin to take studying more serious and ask questions in class when we are learning the material and when we are reviewing. 

Our next science chapter is 12 and social studies is 4. We are nearing the end of chapter 7 in math, it's a big one with the foundations of fractions that we will be applying in chapter 8.
